Ministry Opportunities Greeters - This area of ministry is for outgoing people who enjoy extending a warm welcome to friends and strangers alike. The responsibility of a greeter is to introduce the church (CCSV) to everyone who visits us. A first impression that glorifies Jesus is what we strive to leave with everyone who attends. We stand ready to assist church attendees in emergency circumstances, loss and accident prevention, facility monitoring and parking supervision. Not only do we usher the congregants to their seats, but we play a vital role in serving communion, service preparation, during church services themselves, and in after service ministering and cleanup. Because of this, the entire room has to be transformed into and out of a sanctuary every weekend. This is a task that is behind the scenes and often times go unnoticed, but it blesses many more than we can begin to imagine. Their role is to provide information, as well as, to warmly welcome those people who visit our church. As you can see the Lord has provided many areas in which you can become involved.
